Yearn’s Artisanal Line is characterised by having 12 SPI outsole stitching, a more refined heel, and the option for fiddleback waist. Where appropriate (i.e. depending on the shoe style), the line utilises premium leathers such as those from Zonta or some specialist museum calf tanneries.

Burgundy brogues with uppers composed of both calf leather and hatch grain on the facings for a dash of elegance. The shoes come with the standard leather sole (no toe plates) as standard, unless otherwise requested. 

Each shoe is hand-welted and hand-stitched, which renders them flexible and comfortable to wear.

  • Hand-welted Construction

    In contrast to Goodyear or cement welting, hand-welting is a labour intensive process that results in a lighter and more comfortable shoe. The uppers are held on the last for an average of three full days.

  • Bark-tanned Soles

    As a standard feature, all Yearn shoes have premium leather soles that have been bark-tanned. Every outsole is also hand-stitched, which extends the number of possible resoles.
