What to Expect
Firstly, its important to understand your needs. How would you like to wear this garment and where would you liek to wear it?
Following that, it is imperative for the client to don the garment, so that our Savile Row fitters can analyse how the garment hangs on you.
Finally, the cutter will also advise on the practicality of altering the garment.
Common Alteration Questions
Q. How long do alterations take?
A. Generally, between 2 and 4 weeks depending on the amount of alterations required.
Q. Where do you perform your alterations?
We alter our garments on-site within the Savile Row area -- always within the UK.
Q. Can I shorten a jacket/coat?
A. This depends on the jacket itself, and the placementment of any buttons, pockets, or other
Q. Can you fix holes?
A. This is a tricky one. Sometimes, holes can be patched -- sometimes invisible mending can be performed. The latter can be prohibitively costly, whilst the former is generally advised against unless its in selective areas. We can advise on a case to case basis.
