The Shokunin (2025) is a short film produced by Arterton. Its a culimation of work from various artists including Meg Igarashi who acted as editor and post production supervisor, Oli Gudgeon as music composer, Anna Salamanya on Animations, and T.Y. William Wong as  director. Cast included Koji Tanaka and Hideo Kimura

Post-production included refinign the script and writing the narration lines of dialogue. Given the footage that we had, we had to work in a story that we could tell from the limited amount of usable shots.

Voice recording was done remotely, as Hideo Kimura was in Los Angeles. Here, we can see Hideo in his studio recording the lines with our script beside us.

Music was also a major element of the film. Each scene had to be accompanied by sounds which conveyed the right mood.
